Inc42 reports that Indian startups raised just over $12 billion in 2024, roughly a 20% increase from 2023. Fintech was the top sector, securing about $2.5 billion across 162 deals. Notably, Mumbai overtook Bengaluru as India’s most-funded hub, driven by a $1.3B round for grocery startup Zepto.
